by | Tools

If you loved Part 1 of this 2-part series, then get ready for even more helpful browser extensions that you can start using right this second. We know recruiters don’t have time in the day to do everything they want to do, so that’s why we’ve researched and tested some of the best online tools to help people in this industry.

In this blog post, we’re bringing you six more of our favorites that any recruiter can add to their browser and maximize their efficiency.

1. Hiretual – Get it in the Chrome store here.

Hiretual is a sourcing solution that lets you discover talent ten times faster than other recruiting software and programs. As you create projects, build your pipeline, and find the strongest candidates, you can begin to communicate with people right in the platform and track their progress through your hiring process.

We actually wrote a more in-depth review of this tool that you can read about here.

You can use the free version or you can pay for the Pro version to get more features and capabilities. To understand how it works and see it in full use, you can also request a demo. Learn more about Hiretual here.

2. Hunter – Get it in the Chrome Store here.

Hunter is a robust tool that helps you find and verify professional email addresses all in one place. With just a click of the icon, you have access to everyone’s names, job roles, and social media information. Learn more about the people behind the website and get their contact info.

You can read a more in-depth review of this tool on our blog here.

This is a free tool where you get 100 requests per month and then it resets. There are a lot of features you can use with the free version, but they also have paid plans, ranging from $49 per month up to $400 per month, depending on your needs. Learn more about Hunter here.

3. Prophet – Get it in the Chrome store here.

Just like Hiretual, Hunter, or SeekOut, Prophet works the same way but it includes a person’s email addresses, social media profiles, and websites that are associated with them. However, this extension only works on Facebook and Twitter.

“Prophet uses an advanced engine to predict the most likely email combination for a given person based on name, company and other social data. Then, Prophet verifies the generated email to make sure it is correct and deliverable.”

Once you download the extension, just go to a person’s profile on one of the two social platforms and click the icon. To the right, a sidebar will appear with the person’s info. To find their email addresses, click the “Find Email” button.

If you have a Google Account, you can sign up for a Prophet account. Here you can also look up email addresses without going to a social media profile.

You get 1,000 free credits and can do specific things to earn more free credits or you can contact Prophet for a paid plan to get more credits.

4. Hello Talent – Get it in the Chrome store here.

Hello Talent works like a CRM (Customer Relations Management) database and a recruiting tool combined. It helps you manage and track job candidates and their progress within your hiring process, nurture them through emails communication, and hire the best talent.

Once you sign up for a free account and install the browser extension, you can start adding people to your Pool. Just go to a person’s social media profile and click on the Hello Talent browser icon. Then choose which pool to add them to and choose their status and add their profile with just one click.

When you click the “Get More” button, you’ll be able to see more information about the person.

You can also add helpful information, like a summary to help you remember them or make notes, add tags, job profiles, comments and even assign to a person on your team.

It’s very easy to add profiles through the browser extension, but you can also go to your online account and add people manually and upload resumes. You can also add more information here.

There are a lot of other features you can do from this side of the account as well. You can view your talent pool’s statuses to see who you need to review, follow-up or reach out to. You’ll also see on the left side that you can look up people by tags, job profiles, etc.

You can also create job descriptions through this platform.

Nurture potential candidates via email touches and follow-ups. You can either use their pre-made templates, edit those templates, or create your own new templates.

They have a free version with limited capabilities. You can also try the premium version risk-free for 30 days and then jump onto a paid plan for 59 (EUR)/month. Learn more about Hello Talent here.

5. Lead Connect for LinkedIn – Get it in the Chrome store here.

Lead Connect allows recruiters to find, connect, and communicate with potential job candidates through their automation system. They make it easy to search for job talent and connect with them via LinkedIn.

Once you sign up for a free account and add the browser extension, you can create a new sequence and start setting everything up. First, you’ll need to name your sequence.

Next, you’ll need to define the search criteria for the system. You can either upload your own CVS file or conduct a search in LinkedIn and grab the URL and place it in Lead Connect.

Then, you’ll create a message people will see when an invite is sent to them.

Once you are connected, you can create follow-up messages to be sent to them.

You can even decide how many days after they accept your connection when to send the follow-up message. Ideally, it’s between one and three days.

If a person doesn’t respond, you can set up multiple follow-up messages to be sent to them.

Once you create your next message, you can set another delay timer to determine when it will be sent. Ideally, you’ll want to wait between four and six days.

If a person doesn’t respond, you can also set when to withdraw your connection request.

After you have set up your sequences, you can determine how many people to enroll per day and how many messages to send per day. Then start your sequence.

Once you start getting responses from people, you can find them in the Response section.

On the free version, you get 5 invites per day, 15 messages per day, and 5 templates. To get more, choose from their paid plans that range from $26/month to $86/month. Learn more about Lead Connect here.

6. LinkedIn Search Tool – Get it in the Chrome store here (no longer available for download) .

The name tells you exactly what it does – you search for people on LinkedIn. It’s a very simple and easy tool to use. There are just two steps!

Go to a website and highlight the name of a person. Then right-click on it and choose Search LinkedIn for “name of person.”

Then, it will take you straight to their LinkedIn profile. That’s it! And, it’s absolutely free to use.

If you haven’t tried any of these browser extensions yet, we highly suggest that you do and see how they will transform the way you recruit.
